Frequently Asked Questions

1. What does PurityWorks do?
PurityWorks is a non-profit organization that seeks to educate parents in methods of training in purity of heart and sexual purity. We are not a teen abstinence program, although PurityWorks takes advantage of many opportunities to train individuals of all ages in purity. Along with this training, PurityWorks makes resources available for such training, like The Princess and the Kiss, The Squire and the Scroll, Life Lessons books and other resources. PurityWorks provides these training and resources all over the world.

2. What is Planned Purity?
Planned Purity is Jennie Bishop's model that explains how purity is formed in a life, beginning from the youngest years. When applied to parenting as a methodology or to an adult life as an assessment tool, the model teaches how to build a "household of purity" by teaching and modeling a lifestyle of purity of heart as a foundation. This can naturally lead to an understanding and pursuit of sexual purity.

3. Where can I learn more about Planned Purity?
Planned Purity is taught through conferences, speaking engagements and through Jennie's books. Soon it will be available in an adult format and as a small group study.

4. How can I get PurityWorks to come to my church, school, or organization?
Contact us through this web site or by calling our offices at (407) 792-8141.

5. Can I teach Planned Purity?
Absolutely. One of PurityWorks' goals is to make this method approachable for any committed facilitator. Resources are on the way to provide this training. Contact our offices for more information.

6. Can I host a PurityWorks conference, seminar or event?
Yes. If your church, a group of churches, or a local organization would like to bring Jennie and the PW team in for a conference, you may contact us as we've mentioned above.

7. How can I help PurityWorks?
Giving is crucial to any not-for-profit organization. Your generous contributions are what make us able to continue to share the vital message of purity here and overseas.

But there are other ways to help, too. If you live in Central Florida, you may volunteer for office help or for specific events in the area. Some of our volunteers even travel to be available for conferences or speaking engagements.

You can serve as a team member on an overseas trip. No experience is needed - just a heart full of love for others and a passion to share purity.

You can also train to teach Planned Purity or lead a small group.

8. I'd like to support PurityWorks financially on an ongoing basis. How can I do that?
We are a non-profit organization that is run entirely by funds from those who share our passion to see purity training change families, individuals, and the world. Your generous giving covers not only our administration costs, but allows us to approach new opportunities across the globe. We have huge vision, and are only limited by the funds we receive.

9. Can I serve on an overseas trip with PurityWorks?
We would love to have you serve on a team. Information on upcoming trips is available on this web site and through our offices.

10. How much does it cost to host a PurityWorks event?
Costs for PurityWorks events are more than reasonable. Consider your budget in terms of travel, hotel and speaking fees, remembering, please, that we operate entirely on donations. There are a range of fees according to the engagement (a single speaking engagement is one talk, a conference is three) and to the opportunities for teaching, feedback and communication you wish to provide. You may wish to charge a registration fee to cover costs or take up an offering. In any case, contact us and we will speak to you personally about the details of fees and arrangements for events and appearances.
